About

We welcome everyone, to walk with Jesus everyday, and see restoration everywhere.

The vision of Restore can be summed up using three words

Everyone

We believe that every person is uniquely made in the image of God and is deserving of being embraced, valued and honoured as such.

Everyday

We believe that true discipleship is a whole-hearted and whole life commitment to follow Jesus, and so is an everyday living out of His values.

Everywhere

We believe that Jesus came to share God’s love everywhere and to establish more of the life of heaven on earth. He started with those most in need, and worked out from there, and we seek to do the same.

The heart of the Restore mission is drawn from Isaiah 61:1-4

Reconcile

To see as many people as possible, from every walk of life, encounter God’s love and goodness and to have the opportunity to be reconciled in relationship with Him.

Restore

To enable people to find healing for physical, emotional or spiritual pain and to grow into living out their God-given design

Rebuild

To positively contribute into the lives of others, living an outward-focussed and generous life, and so bringing community transformation.

We achieve our mission by focussing on three core things

Connecting

We encourage everyone to be part of a Restore group, which provides a place of belonging, shared life and spiritual growth.

Contributing

We believe that everyone has God-given gifts, and we grow most when we use these to serve others. Each Restore location has a vision to reach its local community and we encourage everyone to get involved in this mission.

Celebrating

We gather both in individual locations and also as a whole church to celebrate all that God is doing in and through us as Restore, and for vision and worship.

Our Values

The DNA of Restore is drawn from Isaiah 61, which Jesus used to define His mission in Luke 4: 18-19

We are people of the SPIRIT:

“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me….” (v.1)

We are people who are GENEROUS:

“to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favour” (v.2)

We are people who embrace the VULNERABLE:

“He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted” (v.1)

We are people of HOPE:

“to proclaim freedom for the captives” (v.1)

We are people who see the POTENTIAL in others:

“to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning ” (v.3)

We are people who are FAITHFUL:

“They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendour” (v.3)

We are a people committed to seeing RESTORATION:

“They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated” (v.4)

We are a people FOR ALL NATIONS:

“strangers will shepherd your flocks; foreigners will work your fields and vineyards” (v.5)

We are people of JOY:

“and everlasting joy will be yours” (v.7)

We are a people who value the NEXT GENERATION:

“their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples” (v.9)

We are a people of WORSHIP:

“the Sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations” (v.11)
